The Neighbor-Love Movement
Future
We have big dreams

The Neighbor-Love Embassy
Addis Ababa is home for four million Ethiopians, the diplomatic capital of Africa, and a major global city. And yet it doesn’t have a center that consistently curates rich, relevant conversation and community on the issues that matter most for human flourishing.
We want to open this center with offices, an event space, room for hospitality, and a media studio. We’re calling it the Neighbor-Love Embassy.
We’re actively seeking donors to make this dream a reality. If you want to partner with us, please email us at adecort@uchicago.edu. We’d love to share our vision proposal.

Regional NLM Chapters
Neighbor-love grows through community and conversation. Seventy million Ethiopians are below the age of twenty-five and struggle with poverty, purposelessness, and violence. We believe these youth are Ethiopia’s richest resource.
We dream to open Neighbor-Love Chapters across Ethiopia’s regions and inspire Ethiopia’s youth to become ambassadors of neighbor-love through our small group curriculum and Coalition.
If you’d like to start a Chapter or support this vision, please write us at adecort@uchicago.edu. We’d love to share our vision proposal with you.

Ambassadors Fellowship
The Neighbor-Love Movement has built rich networks with many of Ethiopia’s most inspiring leaders. We’ve also designed life-changing study programs that have been recognized by the University of Chicago (USA) and the University of Bonn (Germany).
In 2025, we launched Prophetic: The Public Theology Fellowship in 2025. This program connects emerging Ethiopian faith leaders with experienced public theologians and peace advocates. Prophetic nurtures the ethical vision and practice of neighbor love. Our fellowship includes weekly online seminars, readings, written assignments, personal mentorship, and an ongoing network of support. Learn more and apply at propheticglobal.org.
If you’d like to apply for our Ambassadors Fellowship, please write us at adecort@uchicago.edu.
