Dr. Tekalign and Dr. Andrew presented NLM’s work as a peacemaking initiative fostering reconciliation and dialogue in Ethiopia. Numerous academics and community leaders signed our Covenant.

Dr Tekalign Nega gave a training on the Neighbor-Love Movement and peacemaking for youth leaders from around Ethiopia organized by the Ministry of Peace.

Dr Tekalign Nega gave an address to the Ethiopian Reconciliation Commission’s National Peace Day about the meaning of commitment and practicing the Neighbor-Love Covenant in Ethiopia today. The event brought together hundreds of youth peace leaders and reconciliation Commissioners.

Dr. Tekalign and Dr. Andrew briefed Her Excellency Muferihat Kamil and Dr. Abdi Zenebe on NLM and discussed scaling up our work through a memorandum of understanding with the Ministry of Peace.
